New Iron Man 3 Set Photos



Iron Man 3 has been filming for a few weeks now. Filming was delayed on the set when Robert Downy Jr. hurt his ankle doing a small stunt. But everything is back on track and new on set photos have surfaced. Two new Iron Man armors, one is the new Gold and Red, very heavy on the gold. The other is a Red, White and Blue armor, much like the Iron Patriot armor that Norman Osborn wore. The biggest difference is that it is much heavier in blue.

Some believe it is a new or repainted version of the War Machine armor and Don Cheadle, and that is easy enough to believe. After the appearance of Captain America the government wants to capitalize on that type of theme. So, they take their own “Superhero” and dress him in Cap’ Fashion.

The reason for the mostly gold look of Iron Man may have more to do with the fact that Iron Man 3 will take its cues from the "Extremis" story line. In that story line there is a type of nano-bot virus or drug that basically makes a person into a super weapon. Much stronger than the Super Solder serum; Mallen, the character in the comics that took the drug, was able to best Iron Man in a hand to hand fight. Later in the story Stark almost dies and is forced to take the drug. The end result was a super connection with his suit and, I think, most other tech devises, almost able to speak to them. It creates an inner suit, all gold that comes from his pours. Maybe this will have to do with the drug he took in Iron Man 2?


Iron Man 3 will be the first of Marvel’s Phase 2 agenda. What is Phase 2? Needless to say it will be the next round of Marvel Movies. Starting with Iron Man, then Thor, Captain America, Ant-Man (Yes, an Ant-Man movie), and Guardians of the Galaxy and culminating with Avengers 2.

Marvel's Black Super-Heroes

Bishop: He is the X-Men team member from the future, a future where Mutants are hunted and locked away forever. Bishop himself is apart of the XSE (Xavier's Security Enforcers) a team that polices evil mutants. Bishop also had a sister called Shard; she died via a Vampire like infection.
