Iron Man 3 has been filming for a few weeks now. Filming was delayed on the set when Robert Downy Jr. hurt his ankle doing a small stunt. But everything is back on track and new on set photos have surfaced. Two new Iron Man armors, one is the new Gold and Red, very heavy on the gold. The other is a Red, White and Blue armor, much like the Iron Patriot armor that Norman Osborn wore. The biggest difference is that it is much heavier in blue. Some believe it is a new or repainted version of the War Machine armor and Don Cheadle, and that is easy enough to believe. After the appearance of Captain America the government wants to capitalize on that type of theme. So, they take their own “Superhero” and dress him in Cap’ Fashion. The reason for the mostly gold look of Iron Man may have more to do with the fact that Iron Man 3 will take its cues from the " Extremis " story line.
