Rumor Alert: Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Batman in Justice League Movie!?

Acording to various new sources Joseph Gordon-Levitt may play The Dark Knight in the currently in the works Justice League movie.  But what does this mean? Well, it could actually mean a few different things.

The first thing depends on what the Justice League movie is about. It is still being developed so it is tough to say. Buy at the end of The Dark Knight Rises we see a new Batman in the making. Will Levitt play this new Batman? It is possible. But as a character dynamic to play against Superman things may get a bit stale and Super-Friends-y.

Another possibility is that he will just be Batman. Depending on what the story is about, Batman could just be Batman. No Secret Identity, No extra baggage. Just Batman on a mission to get the job done.

Given the fact that the DC Universe is known for having different universes we could see a very interesting take on this new Batman. What if Levitt was both Batman and Bruce Wayne in Justice League. Making the Justice League movie an Earth-2 or alternate Earth. It would connect the Movie Universe in a way that is different and unique to the way Marvel is doing it.

Personally I don't think Warner Bros. has to rip off the Marvel way of connecting a cinematic universe. Mostly because DC Comics has so many interesting takes on characters and universes to explore. I would love to see a crossover where we see Brandon Routh interact with Henry Cavil both as Superman from different Earths or Universes. And these types of stories are possible and could very well be likely. Keep your eyes open for more News.

Marvel's Black Super-Heroes

Bishop: He is the X-Men team member from the future, a future where Mutants are hunted and locked away forever. Bishop himself is apart of the XSE (Xavier's Security Enforcers) a team that polices evil mutants. Bishop also had a sister called Shard; she died via a Vampire like infection. With his ability to absorb kinetic energy he can redirect that energy and fire them through his hands. Blade: Blade made his first appearance in the comic book series Tomb of Dracula #10 1973. He appeared through out the series here and there on numerous occasions. His first solo story was in Vampire Tales #8 1974. I was one of many Marvel Horror titles done in bland and white. Through out his adventures he has teemed up with a number of comic book heroes such as Ghost Rider, Morbius: the Living Vampire and even Spider-Man. Blade is a Dhampir, or half-breed, born of a Human mother and Vampire father. In the under world of demons and vampires he is more commonly known as the Day Walker. To read mo...
