DIANA PRINCESS (WONDER WOMAN)

            Diana Princess (Wonder Woman)

When I think of Wonder Woman I think of Lynda Carter.  She lets down her hair, arms stretching out, and spinning around, a large clap of light and thunder signifying her change into the Amazon Champion.

Did you know that Wonder Woman was created by William Moulton Marston in 1941 who was greatly influenced by his wife?
To create a strong female figure that young women could look up to. Well, I think this Wonder Woman movie did just that.

Diana, daughter of Hippolyta princess of the Amazons was trained to be an unconquerable warrior. When she rescues an American pilot from the German Soldiers that have found their way onto the beach of Themyscira he tells her about the massive war that's raging in the outside world, convinced that this is Ares doing and that she can stop him Diana leaves her home for the first time. Fighting alongside men in a war to end all wars, she finally discovers her full powers and true destiny.

If you have not seen Wonder Woman yet you should put it on your list of DVDs to get.  I give it a 5 out of 5 stars. There is plenty of action, drama, and suspense in that order that would make you want to watch it over and over and over again.
Directed by Patty Jenkins, making her the first female director of a studio superhero movie it brought in $103.3 million on opening day at the box office.

Wonder Woman: First Look At New Costume

There is a new Wonder Woman TV show in the works by Boston Legal's own David E. Kelly Here is a look at the photo. I think it looks pretty good. My only gripe is that it looks too shiny, but that could just be because of all the lights from photography. And I miss the red boots. But not too shabby, not too shabby at all.
